At Nutgrove, we are committed to equipping children with the digital skills, knowledge and confidence they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our Computing Curriculum is carefully designed to be progressive, ensuring that children develop their understanding of technology, coding, online safety and digital creativity from Early Years through to Year 6.
We use Purple Mash, a comprehensive and engaging online platform, to support teaching and learning in computing. Purple Mash provides a wide range of interactive tools and resources that make learning fun, hands-on and meaningful. Through this platform, children explore computer science, information technology, digital literacy and online safety in a structured, skills-based way.
Our approach ensures that children:
