Vision and Values
Our Vision
Our school vision guides everything we do. It was developed by children, staff and governors together to ensure it will be lived out every day. It sets out what we believe in and the kind of learning environment we want for our children. It helps our staff work together with a shared purpose, supports high-quality teaching, and ensures every decision we make puts our pupils’ wellbeing and learning first. Most importantly, our vision helps every child grow with confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Theologically Rooted Vision
This is encompassed by our Bible verse:
” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11.

Our Values
To achieve this, we wish to create a happy, secure and purposeful culture throughout the school, which is conducive to learning and high standards, and is based on our Christian values. Each class has a Christian value which they hold dear. This ensures that all children, during their learning journey at Nutgrove Methodist, learn about why each value is important.
