Dear Parents and Carers,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. We hope that children, parents and visitors to our site will find out everything they need to know about our school and the exciting things that happen here.
Myself, the governors, staff, parents and children are all very proud of our caring, Christian school. We foster a welcoming environment where all children thrive and have opportunities to exceed their potential through work and play.
At Nutgrove Methodist, we see each child as an individual and nurture them to live out their true potential. We want all children to expand their horizons and believe in themselves and grow in confidence.
Our bespoke Nutgrove curriculum ensures that as a school community, we are able to learn and grow, in all the ways we can, to achieve excellence for all with Christ at the centre so that our children make progress. Our curriculum…
- Nurtures Curiosity
- Understands inclusivity, innovative and effective teaching and learning
- Time to develop aspirations
- Gain knowledge and skills
- Resilience and perseverance
- Opportunities to build on vocabulary and for deeper learning
- Values- Christian, British and family
- Everybody’s health and well-being
Our aim is for all children to leave Nutgrove Methodist with life skills, which will serve them well for the future. We want all of our children to achieve and be the very best that they can be.
“My Best Always Everywhere”
Our aim is to provide a learning experience that will help all children to make rapid progress, whatever their starting point. We want them to have the best possible start in life and help them to acquire the skills, knowledge, understanding and ambition to prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
I am sure that the information available on the website is helpful to you, but cannot replace seeing things for yourself. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed, please come and see us in action!
Please contact the school office for an appointment so we can show you what is on offer for your family.
Mrs R Bottell
