Projects Funded by the PTFA

Of the many things the PTFA have funded over the
years,  acquisitions include:

  • Scooter storage rack.
  • 2 Gazebos.
  • Phonic keyboards for the ICT suite.
  • New award trophies.
  • Football goal posts.
  • A huge wooden picnic bench and story telling chair in the Key Stage One
  • Café furniture for the Key Stage Two playground.
  • A £1300 revamp of the school wildlife garden (including a learning area,
    new plants, wildlife habitats and lots more)!
  • Hi-visability jackets (printed with school logo on) for adults and
    children to wear whilst on trips.
  • A potentially life-saving defibrillator and training for staff.
  • Hundreds of pounds worth of books for the library.

Funding also has been provided for experiences that
are enriching for the pupils that would not usually be covered in the school
curriculum such as:

  • Contribution to, and sometimes full coverage of transport costs for class trips.
  • Object loan boxes from museums and libraries.
  • Visits from local author.
  • Funding towards annual pantomime.
